Job Description

Job Title: Door & Hardware Project Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time
Pay Range: $85,000-$105,000 DOE


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage commercial door, frame, and hardware projects from start to finish
* Review architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, and project documents
* Interpret floor plans, door handing, hardware requirements, wall types, and opening details
* Coordinate with general contractors, manufacturers, vendors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle
* Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
* Track project schedules, material deliveries, and installation timelines
* Monitor project budgets and maintain accurate project records
* Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining strong customer relationships
* Manage multiple active projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project milestones
* Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations

Qualifications:

* Experience managing commercial door, frame, and hardware projects is required
* Strong understanding of commercial doors, architectural hardware, and construction documents
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, door schedules, and floor plans
* Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and manufacturers
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
* Experience with industry software such as Comsense, AVAware, AVAProject, PRO-TECH, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems is highly preferred
* AutoCAD experience is a plus
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
